A Word On... Blood Donation





Anyone aged between 17 - 60 years of age, in general good health and who weighs over 50kg can give blood.  But if you have any doubt and want to find out more and locate a donor session local to you, contact one of the Blood Donor Helpline numbers below or visit one of the sites highlighted.  Remember your donation could help save more than one persons life and with the flu outbreaks expected to make a huge impact on blood stocks ..the blood service urgently need more of us to come forward and give just under a pint of this life saving/enhancing liquid.
